Currently, 120 students attend Zoharim Youth Village
Zoharim Youth Village is a therapeutic and educational village for Orthodox boys at-risk – young people who have fallen through the cracks of the traditional system and been left without direction, support, or a place to belong.
As one of the few institutions explicitly tailored to their needs, Zoharim offers more than just a boarding school. It’s a lifeline.
Here, the boys receive more than an education; they rediscover their self-worth. Surrounded by dedicated mentors, therapists and staff members, they gain academic support, emotional healing, and practical life skills that empower them to thrive.

Zoharim Youth Village supports boys from the ultra-Orthodox community who are unable to find their place in regular ultra-Orthodox educational frameworks. The village provides a warm, home-like environment, personalised guidance, and essential life tools, helping young people grow into responsible, contributing members of Israeli society.
Most students complete their matriculation exams, serve in the IDF, and build meaningful futures – choosing a path that suits them ideologically, spiritually, and professionally.
Beyond the classroom, Zoharim offers transformative experiences that shape character and build resilience. From carpentry and agriculture to horseback riding and therapeutic programmes, students gain real-world skills while restoring trust, independence, and self-worth.

Zoharim Youth Village caters to youth from the ultra-orthodox community who are unable to find their place in regular ultra-orthodox educational frameworks. The village aims to give the young people a warm, home environment, guidance, and life tools so that, when they become adults, they will become honest citizens who contribute to Israeli society.
The majority will take and pass their matriculation exams, will serve in the IDF, and later on, build their future and choose the lifestyle that most suits them – ideological, spiritual, and professional.
