Pninat Ohr is an elementary school for girls in Years 1 to 7, welcoming students from across the full spectrum of Israeli society. The school is dedicated to creating a supportive and nurturing educational environment that recognises the unique abilities of every child.
Within the school are five specialised classrooms designed for students with learning and developmental disabilities. These classes provide tailored instruction, structured teaching methods, and professional therapeutic support that allow students to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
A multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists works closely with each student, focusing on individual learning goals, emotional wellbeing, and the development of independence and life skills. Through close collaboration with families, students are supported both at school and at home, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of achievement.
For girls from ultra-Orthodox communities in Tiberias, Safed, and Haifa, Pninat Ohr provides one of the few specialised educational opportunities in the northern valleys—ensuring that students with special needs can receive the education they deserve while remaining connected to their communities.
